The CRnetWORK Individual Fund

In an effort to meet the needs of individuals in an expedient and anonymous way, CR netWORK developed the CR netWORK Individual Fund.  While proposals for larger projects are submitted quite easily through our brief Project Submission Form, it does take two to six weeks to secure the appropriate approvals and get the check into the recipient’s hands.  The Individual Fund has a much more streamlined process that reduces the cycle time from weeks to days.

The Individual Fund aims to cover the following types of costs:
  • Entry fees for team or individual sport or arts activity
  • Necessary equipment for a sport or arts activity including instruments, uniforms, etc.
  • Fees owed to a club, director, or instructor for lesson-related fees
  • Other opportunities, as determined by the Individual Fund Committee

PROCESS:  A committee of three CRnetWORK members will receive all submissions that address (1) individuals seeking funds for those things noted above (2) not to exceed $250.00.
  1. A request for funds is submitted to CRnetWORK or directly to an Individual Fund committee member. Ideally, a member, coach, activity director, counselor, or teacher would make this request.
  2. The committee of three votes on each request with two affirmative votes signifying approval of the grant.
  3. The committee only approves projects that conform to the criteria noted in the bullet-point list above.
  4. The maximum turnaround time to fund a project should be one week.  The turnaround time would is defined as the time between when the request was received by a committee member and when the check is received by the grantee.
  5. A representative of the Individual Fund will present to the Board of Directors at each Board meeting and report on the committee’s expenditures.

The Individual Fund Committee consists of Kara Meiborg, Sean Neilly, and Charlie Goetzinger
