School/Organization: Northwest Neighborhoods Project Leader: Chad Spore/Marty Hoeger Amount: $303 Description: The new Time Check Park on the Northwest side was rapidly becoming a place for unsupervised youth to loiter. There was vandalism and graffiti, as well as negative peer interactions. Cedar Rapids Neighborhoods, INC (CRN) believed that the provision of youth programming in the Park would serve to alleviate much of the potential for ongoing and/or escalating problems.
