Date: 4/3/2012 School/Organization: Cedar Hills Booster Club Project Leader: Chad Amount: $275 Description: The Cedar Hills Booster Club has seen thousands of young children go through its baseball and softball programs on the west side of Cedar Rapids for more than 40 years. The league prides itself on offering a quality program at a low cost to local families. Tough economic times the past couple years have brought extra challenges to the Club that depends on team sponsorships as a primary source of funding. CR netWORK has proudly sponsored a team each of the past three springs. The cost to sponsor a team for the upcoming 2012 season is $275.
