Date: 8/24/2010 School/Organization: Taylor Elementary Project Leader: Rebecca Spore/Joyce Firzlaff Amount: $168.37 Description: The condition of the asphalt at Taylor School, unexpectedly required that it move up higher in the rotation for receiving it's 'once in every several years' asphalt sealant. Thus resulting in the US Playground Map at Taylor School to be covered and barely visible. The work will be done in conjunction with the Jefferson National Honor Society and CR netWORK members (about the same time as the Madison School map this fall). The map was a popular feature at the school prior to this unexpected sealant application. The asphalt will not be sealed again for about seven years.
